The Female's role in the relationship (outside of mating and egg-laying) is to provide for her two partners and their children. This involves roles traditionally assumed by males in many other societies -- security, bread-winning, etc. The Female's dominant traits are therefore physical strength, intelligence, and a dash of attractiveness (to help win the heart of a Beta-Male).
